Job Description:
A company is looking for a Senior Actuary - E&S Alternative
Venture Pricing.
Key Responsibilities:
Perform large account/structured deal pricing and statistical
analysis of tail risk/capital requirements
Collaborate with finance and underwriting on deal vetting and
manage relationships with external partners
Provide mentorship and coaching to a team of three direct
reports
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education:
Bachelor's degree in actuarial science, mathematics, statistics,
business, or related field
Associate in the Casualty Actuarial Society required; Fellowship
preferred
Typically ten years of experience in an actuarial function with
prior leadership experience
Advanced knowledge of actuarial techniques and insurance
operations
Proficiency in data manipulation techniques (e.g., R, Python, SQL)
and familiarity with modeling software
