Job Description:

North Houston International Logistics company is seeking an experienced Accounts Receivable associate. The position will also consists of Payables duties as well, however, Payables experience is not required. Salary up to 42K!

Accounts Receivable Coordinator Responsibilities:

- Organize checks, verify cash received, and complete deposit slips

- Reconcile and investigate issues relating to daily cash receipts

- Manage daily trust account deposits for clients, prepare checks and wire transfer forms, and complete the required paperwork for new trust accounts

- Ensure that over payments are refunded and prepare check requests for clients with authorization

- Maintain paper and electronic files for cash receipt activity such as cash receipts for operations and trust accounts

- Run aging reports and contact customers accordingly

- Assist with A/R and collections by providing routine support to ensure that bills are paid in a timely manner

Requirements:

- 3+ years as an Accounts Receivable associate preferably within the Logistics, Manufacturing, or Distribution industries.

- Analytical, problem-solving and financial analysis skills

- Must have strong oral and written communication skills, as well as good interpersonal skills to work effectively with other members of the team and other departments

-Strong problem solving skills, basic accounting principles knowledge, documentation skills, research and resolution skills, data analysis and multi-tasking skills
