Job Description:

Hiring ISO Mechanic in La Porte, TX!. The ISO Mechanic is responsible for performing testing, repairing and maintenance on trailers and ISO tanks to ensure safe and productive operations.
PRIMARY RESPOSIBILITIES

• Perform testing and preventative maintenance on trailers/ISO
• Perform tank testing (K - Leakage, P - Pressure)
• Perform inspections to ensure DOT requirements are met and take corrective measures when required
• Read and interpret work orders, communicate with drivers on repairs and discuss preventive measures
  PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Exposed to fumes or airborne particles, moving mechanical parts and vibration
  • Noise level in the work environment can be loud
  • Requires frequent standing, walking, bending, kneeling, stooping, crouching, crawling, and climbing
  • Able to lift and/or move items up to 50 lbs.
  • Vision abilities: close, distance, color, peripheral, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus
    OTHER REQUIREMENTS
    • Tools based on our experience, will allow a window of time to acquire any hand tools you may need. We also strongly recommend a locking toolbox for your station
    • Several years of industry knowledge and experience performing maintenance, testing On ISO tank containers
    • Personal set of tools
