Job Description:

Since its inception in 2005, the company's focus has been to connect biology to recover billions of barrels of oil that are trapped in reservoirs around the world and with its state-of-the-art research laboratory and technology they are poised to have significant impact in helping to supply the world's energy needs. Recently the company completed the acquisition of producing oil assets in Wood County for $40MM with current net production of approximately 500 Boe/day from 28 wells and proved reserves with an average working interest of 98.6% With that acquisition the company has several opportunities within their exploitation group including an Operations Engineer.

Qualified candidates will be responsible for and have the following experience:

*production, completions, drilling, and reservoir engineering

*downhole experience

*design artificial lift systems (ESP, plunger lift, rod pump)

*design and supervise hydraulic fracturing jobs

Qualifications:

*BS in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline

*5+ years of industry experience with a small to mid-size independent operator

*EOR, waterflood, CO2 experience

*Software proficiency with the use of Drilling Info / DI Desktop, SLB OFM, Avocet, PhDWin
