Job SummaryYou will have the ability to: support for the
Intelligent Grid Switching Device (IGSD) Deployment program for
CEHE. Will be accountable for the tracking and reporting on the
overall progress of IGSD installations, schedule, costs, forecast
modeling, and quality metrics to achieve annual overall
installation target. Responsibilities to include, but not limited
to, data gathering from various stakeholders, provide weekly status
updates, perform site surveys, generate IGSD W/O, and collaborate
with stakeholders to resolve emerging issues. Essential
Functions
- Perform project coordination of IGSD Program.
- Develop and enhance reporting on the status of the IGSD Program
for both the new and existing devices.
- Manage and communicate scheduling and status of equipment for
Purchasing, Engineering, Operations, Telecom, Asset Management,
Leadership, and other internal stakeholders.
- Identify and develop key performance indicators for developing
reports to summarize program status including time, quality, and
cost metrics.
- Develop reports and presentations for executive-level
briefings.
- Utilize SAP, SharePoint, Microsoft Outlook, Word, and Excel,
and other software and resources to effectively manage deployment,
replacements, and upgrades for IGSD devices.
- Create the annual schedule for deployment, with key milestones
to share with stakeholders.
- Participate in cross-functional teams to provide business,
operational or engineering support for stakeholder efforts.
- Provide solutions to scheduling changes that minimize the
impact to stakeholders.
- Design, code, document and develop Tableau dashboards for
reporting purposes.
- Required to participate in CenterPoint Energy's Emergency
Operation Plan (EOP). Education Description
- Requires a bachelor's or an associate degree in engineering
discipline, computer programming, or other technical area.
Experience
- Experience in an engineering or electric utility
environment.
- Will consider work experience in an engineering/construction
environment.
- 0-2 years of relevant work experience required. We want you to
