Title: Automation Designer

Location: Houston, TX
Schedule: Remote with some times onsite
Duration: Full Time
Salary: 83K- 140K/Annually

Day to day:
Assisting cross functionally with other teams, designing panels as needed. Assisting the high value center
Supporting approximately 3-5 projects at a time
Mostly on the design side
Surveying sites alone
Taking pictures of system cabinets, writings and then taking these pics back and marking up AutoCad drawings with enhancements/additions.
Working with engineers to figure out final drawings and schematics
Assisting fab shop and Designing panels as needed

Requirements:
Understands wiring/electrical equipment
Proficient in AutoCad- Panel assembly
I&E design
Looking for someone who has some versatility to their experience
Experience in oil & gas, onshore gas processing, hydrocarbon storage and transportation, chemical.
Small/Medium project lead experience preferred.
Experience working on the following I&E activities and deliverables: surveying, cable schedules, plot plans, loop drawings, motor schematics, panel drawings, panel schedules, control wiring drawings, and construction SOW.

Ideal background is someone who is coming from hands on field work experience (ex: wiring diagrams set-up)
