System One has a client located in North Houston that is looking to hire an engineer with offshore drilling equipment experience. This could be mechanical or structural in nature.

The Senior Engineer will normally plan, conduct, and supervise engineering design reviews and analysis assignments involving multiple projects.

Responsibilities:

- Ensures the delivery of high-quality service and maintenance of good customer relations. May

- Performs detailed engineering review of plans for compliance with applicable rules, standards, regulations, and contract requirements.

- Applies intensive and diversified knowledge of engineering principles and practices in broad areas of technical responsibility.

- Develops or assists in developing qualification statements, proposals, bids, and other presentation materials.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or recognized equivalent in Mechanical or Manufacturing, engineering.

- Should have at least eight (8) years of experience in an appropriate technical discipline and/or industry.

- Knowledge of finite element analysis.

- Knowledge of Oil and Gas drilling equipment.
