About the Role:
We are seeking a skilled Infoblox Infoblox Engineer with extensive experience in DNS, DHCP, and Infoblox DDI solutions. As part of our team, you will play a key role in managing, optimizing, and troubleshooting large-scale Infoblox DNS deployments in hybrid environments (on-prem and cloud). This is a Level 3 (L3) technical role that requires hands-on expertise in Infoblox, automation, and network infrastructure.

The client is looking for a highly technical L3-level Infoblox engineer who can not only troubleshoot and maintain complex DNS setups but also take the initiative in scripting, automation, and advising teams on best practices in a hybrid environment. The ideal candidate would have both deep technical knowledge and strong communication/documentation skills.

Key Responsibilities:
Manage and support Infoblox DNS, DHCP, and DDI solutions in hybrid (on-prem and cloud) environments.
Troubleshoot complex DNS/DHCP issues and perform in-depth packet analysis.
Automate infrastructure deployment and support tasks using Python, Shell scripting, or Perl.
Conduct configuration, code upgrades, and hardware testing in lab environments.
Provide low-level technical documentation and act as a trusted advisor to internal software, infrastructure, and vendor teams.
Monitor network performance and analyze metrics using Splunk, Grafana, and related tools.
Ensure compliance with security best practices and external regulations.

Required Skills & Experience:
Extensive knowledge of Infoblox DDI, DNS, DHCP, and TCP/IP protocols.
Experience with Infoblox Grid, large-scale DNS deployments, and hybrid cloud infrastructure.
Automation experience with Python, Shell scripting, or Perl.
Hands-on knowledge of Splunk, Grafana, and packet capture analysis tools.
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
Infoblox Certification (preferred) - Infoblox Core DDI or equivalent.
A basic understanding of Linux operations is a plus.
