Position Overview:
Our client, a premier provider of both international and domestic freight services, is seeking a dynamic and results-driven Branch Manager for their Houston, TX location. This position will also serve as the VP of Air & Ocean Sales, overseeing the growth and operational excellence of the branch, with a strong focus on international air and ocean freight services.
Key Responsibilities:

• Branch Leadership: Lead and manage the Houston branch, ensuring operational efficiency, profitability, and alignment with company goals.
• Sales Strategy: Develop and execute sales plans to drive revenue growth and expand market share in air and ocean freight services.
• Business Development: Identify new business opportunities, establish relationships with prospective clients, and grow the branch's client portfolio.
• Client Relationship Management: Serve as the main point of contact for key clients, ensuring customer satisfaction and delivering tailored logistics solutions.
• Operational Oversight: Collaborate with internal teams, including warehousing, operations, and transportation, to ensure seamless freight service execution.
• Market Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, competitors, and market conditions to adapt strategies and maintain a competitive edge.
• Contract Negotiations: Prepare and negotiate contracts, aligning pricing with profitability and company objectives.
• Performance Monitoring: Regularly report branch performance, sales metrics, and market trends to senior leadership.
