Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Director of Engineering Services to join our team at Memorial Hermann Health System. As a key member of our leadership team, you will be responsible for planning, organizing, and controlling the facility's Engineering Services operations, ensuring operating efficiency within budgetary constraints.Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate operations on an ongoing basis, utilizing the principles of continuous process improvement to develop and implement action plans to address variances and improve efficiency.
• Control and reduce costs, ensuring that controllable expenses meet or exceed budget.
• Forecast operational needs, review budget reports, and take corrective action to address negative variances.
• Establish scope of services and develop annual implementation plans that contribute to organizational strategic objectives.
• Project manage capital projects up to $500,000 range.Requirements
  • Three to five years of management experience in hospital operations and maintenance environment in hospitals of progressively increasing size up to 300 beds and 500,000 square feet.
  • Knowledge of OSHA, JCAHO, and NFPA regulations and standards.
