About the role
Applied Experience is one of the newest and fastest growing arms of the Syapse business. Leveraging standard quality improvement models, Syapse leverages its proprietary platform to develop data-driven insights to support delivery of high-quality care. Syapse brings those insights forward to key stakeholders across the healthcare ecosystem (i.e., health systems, molecular testing labs, and life science companies) via programs to identify actionable opportunities to improve care and drive sustained impact by monitoring success of interventions over time.
As a key member of the Syapse's Insights, Strategy, and Growth team, you will be responsible for Applied Experience. Already deployed with multiple life sciences and health system clients, you will continue refining the offering to deliver on the promise of high-quality, accessible care across the Syapse Learning Health Network.
In addition, you will lead definition of further growth by supporting go-to market needs in the Applied Experience book of business by:


  • Working closely with commercial team members (i.e. Business Development and Marketing) to support go-to-market needs (i.e. proposals, sales pitches)
  • Defining the future strategy, growth, and evolution of the Applied Experience offering
  • Working hand in hand with our amazing Insights group to transform data insights into client-facing presentations that showcase the impact of Applied Experience to potential customers

    What You'll Accomplish

    • Delivery of successful active Applied Experience projects
    • Increase life science business development efficiency as the Applied Experience offering subject matter expert and support proposal development for Applied Experience deals
    • Lead internal efforts to continually evaluate, evolve, and scale the Applied Experience offering

      What you bring to the table

      • Mature executive presence to facilitate presentations, meetings, and workshops (virtual and live) with those of diverse professional and academic expertise (e.g., leadership, scientists, and clinicians)
      • Ability to motivate and drive cross-functional teams toward a common goal
      • Storytelling savvy, with an ability to communicate meaning from complex data through both verbal and visual mediums
      • Drive to innovate and evolve offerings to meet customer needs by leveraging company strengths
      • Program management expertise, with a fierce focus on execution, meeting milestones, risk mitigation, and keeping projects on track and on budget
      • Domain expertise in oncology, real-world data, clinical research, quality improvement, or health services offering management
      • Advanced clinical (e.g., MD, RN), research (e.g., PhD, MPH, MSc), or business (e.g., MBA) degrees preferred

        Compensation: The target base salary for this position is 145,000-170,000
        This base salary is only a part of a total compensation package, annual bonus, benefits, 401k with match, flexible PTO and incentive pay for eligible roles. Individual pay may vary from the target range as a number of factors including market forces, experience, location, disparities in market data and other relevant business considerations may all factor into final compensation.
