Job Description:
A company is looking for a Director of Cloud Engineering to lead
their cloud engineering and architecture practice.
Key Responsibilities:
Manage and optimize AWS infrastructure and automate CI/CD
pipelines
Collaborate with Agile teams to enhance DevOps functions and
streamline deployments
Build and lead a team of cloud engineers and architects while
ensuring security and compliance
Required Qualifications:
BS/BA degree in Computer Science, Information Systems Management,
or related field, or equivalent experience
8+ years of software or systems engineering experience with
management of direct reports
5+ years of experience working with cloud services, specifically
AWS
Demonstrated Infrastructure as Code experience using tools like
Terraform or AWS CloudFormation
Experience in managing vendors and budgets in cloud
environments
