Job Description:

A company is looking for a Board Certified Oncology/Hematology Physician Advisor for Disability Peer Review.

Key Responsibilities

Review medical records and provide independent opinions on disability status based on clinical evidence
Ensure clear rationale and supporting documentation for determinations, utilizing recognized criteria
Conduct peer-to-peer calls as necessary to gather additional information and clarification

Required Qualifications

Board certification in Oncology/Hematology
Active practice in the medical field
Experience in reviewing medical records for disability claims
Knowledge of national, state, and professional guidelines relevant to disability assessments
Ability to work independently as an independent contractor
