Job Description:
A company is looking for a Clinical Review Nurse - Concurrent
Review.
Key Responsibilities
Perform concurrent reviews to assess member's overall health and
medical necessity of care
Evaluate inpatient services to validate the necessity and setting
of care provided
Contribute to discharge planning according to care policies and
guidelines
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Graduate from an Accredited School of Nursing or Bachelor's degree
in Nursing
2 - 4 years of related experience, with 2+ years in acute care
required
Clinical knowledge to determine overall health and treatment needs
preferred
Knowledge of Medicare and Medicaid regulations preferred
Ambetter- Texas RN or compact license required
