Job Description:
A company is looking for a coder to ensure accurate coding and
compliance with guidelines in medical billing.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze medical documentation to verify charge accuracy and
completeness
Ensure CPT and ICD codes are supported by provider
documentation
Identify and resolve discrepancies in documentation affecting
billing
Required Qualifications
High School Diploma or GED
Minimum of 1 year relevant work experience
Certification in medical coding is preferred
Understanding of CPT and ICD coding guidelines
Familiarity with electronic health record (E.H.R.) systems
