Job Description:
A company is looking for an Associate Manager Physician Coder
Surgical.
Key Responsibilities
Lead and manage a medical coding team, including training,
performance evaluations, and workflow direction
Assist in achieving budgetary goals and monitor coding performance
metrics
Collaborate with leaders to establish coding quality standards and
ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines
Required Qualifications
Degree in Health Information or a related field with relevant
coursework
Active certification as CCS, CPC, CCS-P, RHIT, or RHIA
Minimum of 5 years of progressive coding experience, preferably in
a healthcare setting
Strong knowledge of coding practices and computer applications
related to coding
Ability to work collaboratively with a diverse team
