Pay: $43-45/hr
Hours: One CST will work from 0700-1530 (5 x 8 hour shifts), the other CST will work from 0700-1730 (4 x 10 hour shifts) One on-call shift during the week day (Monday through Friday) from 1900-0700 once per month and one weekend shift from 0700-0700 on Saturday and Sunday once per 13 week contract.
Required:
--- High School Diploma or GED
--- Educational program completion for surgical technologists which may include operating room/surgical training completed in the army, navy, air force, marine corps, or coast guard of the United States or in the United States Public Health Service
--- 2 years' experience as a Surgical Technologist and has experience in two or more surgical specialties
--- Certified Surgical Tech - National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting OR National Center for Competency Testing
--- BLS certification required
--- 3-5 years Pediatric experience preferred

Responsibilities include handling instruments, supplies, and equipment necessary during congenital heart surgery procedures, assisting the physician while performing related patient care duties in an age-appropriate manner as assigned by the circulating nurse (RN). Must have pediatric experience.
