Job Description:

Job Summary: Assist Team Leader in daily operations, profitability, expense control, buying, merchandising, labor, regulatory compliance, and special projects. Lead and develop Team Members.

Key Responsibilities:

• Store Operations: Develop store layout and product merchandising, achieve sales, purchasing, and labor targets, assist with annual sales and expense projections, and budget preparation, ordering and inventory management, and resolving team concerns or issues.
• Team Management: Function as point person and departmental person in charge in absence of Team Leader, set and achieve retail execution standards, foster a positive team environment, maintain customer flow awareness, and direct Team Members to satisfy customer needs.
• Performance and Development: Select, train, develop, mentor, motivate, and counsel Team Members, communicate and maintain Team Member safety and security standards, and provide performance evaluations.
  Requirements:
  • 18+ months retail Team Member experience and 6+ months of supervisory experience.
  • High energy, enthusiasm, and affinity for products, core values, and company philosophy.
  • Extensive knowledge of meat products, growth mindset, and desire to coach and mentor others.
  • Excellent interpersonal, motivational, team building, and customer relationship skills.
    Physical Requirements:
    • Lift 50 pounds.
    • Stand/walk 6-8 hours in an 8-hour work day.
    • Use hands for single grasping, fine manipulation, pushing, and pulling.
    • Work in a wet and cold environment, handle knives and cutting equipment, and work flexible schedules.
