About the RoleWe are seeking a skilled Line Cook to join our team at Bludorn, a Michelin-starred restaurant in Houston's 4th Ward. As a Line Cook, you will be responsible for preparing, cooking, and plating dishes to the highest standards of quality and presentation.Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and cook ingredients according to Bludorn's standards and recipes
• Assist in organizing ingredients and maintaining a clean and organized workstation
• Attend daily cooks meetings and contribute to a positive and productive kitchen environment
• Clean and maintain the kitchen and walk-in fridges
• Adapt to the needs of the kitchen team and work different cooking stations as neededRequirements
  • Passionate about food and cooking in a professional kitchen
  • Background knowledge of cooking techniques, safe knife usage, and proper cooling/storing methods for raw and cooked ingredients
  • Understanding of portioning and measurements in both metric and imperial systems
  • Eager to learn and develop culinary skills
  • Comfortable working independently and as part of a small team
  • Punctual, organized, and have a can-do attitude
  • Cool under pressure and able to commit to deadlines
