A Brief Overview

The Merchandising Manager will provide the division with operational support to improve: product assortments, sales, merchandising, customer service execution. This position will collaborate with, support and serve as a liaison for the division's operations, marketing and our share services supply chain teams.

What you will do

• Provide operational support to improve merchandising and product assortments.
• Serve as a liaison between branches, operational leadership, marketing and corporate supply chain teams.
• Responsible for providing/coordinating branch training for customer service standards, products, product procurement, merchandising and marketing programs.
• Assist branches with merchandising needs including resets, assortments and planogram updates.
• Develop strategies to reduce slow turning inventory.
• Work with and through PGM's to identify and prioritize branch product assortment changes, floor plan adjustments and/or store resets.
• Coordinate and communicate branch SKU requests and/or line changes with operational leadership and marketing.
• Work with data management to ensure proper SKU and assortment cataloging, SKU enrichment, auto procurement settings and VOG and web store classification.
• Perform branch audits with a focus on store and merchandise presentation and brand standards including uniform, customer service, facility, fleet, merchandising and out of stock standards.
• Provide reporting and analysis on marketing programs, ad and promotion performance, B to B hardline sales, B to C sales, stock outs and slow moving products.
• Conduct and report out on comp shops for product assortments and pricing.
• Work with operations and marketing to improve the customer experience including customer journey, staffing and FG playbook execution.
• Coordinate and provide feedback on supply chain programs including special buys, good deals and end cap program.

    Travel Requirements
    
    • 50% travel to hardline locations to support merchandising, assortments, audits, and training.
