VOLT is immediately hiring for a Jr. HR Coordinator in Houston,
TX!
As a Junior HR Coordinator you will:
Serve as a point of contact for employees, addressing their
HR-related inquiries and providing assistance as needed.
Support the payroll process by collecting and verifying timesheets,
ensuring accurate and timely payroll processing.
Assist with the onboarding process for new hires, including
preparing orientation materials and conducting orientation
sessions.
Maintain employee records, update HR databases, and ensure
compliance with company policies and procedures.
Participate in organizing employee engagement activities and events
to foster a positive work environment.
Ensure compliance with labor laws and regulations, and assist with
audits and reporting as needed.
Perform other HR-related tasks and projects as assigned.
This is a full-time opportunity.
The ideal candidate will have:
1-2 years of experience in an HR role, with exposure to payroll
processing and employee interaction.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
Detail-oriented with excellent organizational abilities.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel,
PowerPoint).
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with
discretion.
Knowledge of HR software and payroll systems is a plus.
Pay Rate: $20.00 - $22.00 per hour
Pay range offered to a successful candidate will be based on
several factors, including the candidate's education, work
experience, work location, specific job duties, certifications,
etc.
