Academic Requirements: Bachelor's degree required from accredited
program/institution in one of the following areas: social work,
psychology, criminal justice, sociology, or related field of
study.
Work Experience: Required- Two years related experience and/or
training, including progressive employment experience working with
children and/or young adults with complex trauma histories, and
supervisory experience.
Summary: The Service Coordinator Lead is responsible for ensuring
24/7 operability of an anti-trafficking program, including direct
service, and directly supervising Service Coordinators, volunteers,
and interns.
Critical Action Items & Measurable Deliverables:
1. Directly supervise a team of Service Coordinators
2. Accept and respond to all inbound contacts during assigned
shift, including regular on-call overnight shift as assigned
3. Oversee Service Coordinator's case management duties, including
but not limited to: service plans, distribution of survivor
surveys, entry of CSE-IT's in Lighthouse, and Signify.
4. Oversee entry of case referrals in Salesforce system
5. Ensure program adherence to minimum standards and best practices
protocols.
6. Hire, train, supervise and evaluate assigned staff, interns, and
volunteers.
7. Meet all deadlines required by supervisor, as well as state and
federal partners.
8. Meet all federal and state regulatory guidelines and standards
applicable to this position.
9. Ensure all case referrals are entered in Salesforce system same
day
10. Monitor survivor communication and ensure responsiveness of all
inbound contacts
11. Provide reports of number of survivor surveys, CSE-Its entered
in Lighthouse, and cases entered in Signify.
12. Ensure communication up and down the chain is immediate,
including all safety concerns, required reporting, and crisis
incident information.
13. Participate in scheduled meetings, in-service trainings, and
team decisions.
14. Work evening, weekends and holidays as needed or requested by
position supervisor.
15. Maintain BCFS Health and Human Services professional and
ethical standards of conduct as outlines in the BCFS System
employee handbook, as well as the Human Trafficking Interdiction
Division's policies and procedures manual, including demonstrating
respect for agency staff, children, and community members, and
always complying with required dress code.
Requirements:
1. Maintain current licenses, certificates, and training as
required for the position.
2. Pass a pre-employment drug screen and random drug screens
throughout employment.
3. Participate in all required program trainings.
4. Provide proof of work eligibility status upon request.
5. Pass a pre-employment and biennial criminal background
checks.
6. Demonstrate the ability to:
a. Respond sensitively and competently to the service population's
cultural and socio-economic characteristics.
b. Communicate effectively in writing and verbally in English.
Bilingual ability in Spanish is strongly preferred.
c. Work collaboratively with other staff members, service providers
and professionals.
d. Work in a high intensity environment, always maintaining
emotional control and professional composure.
e. Organize and prioritize responsibilities and duties
efficiently.
f. Maintain advance computer literacy required to meet the
responsibilities of the position.
g. Work effectively and without intensive supervision both
independently and as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
h. Supportively, positively, and effectively supervise the program
to reach top performance capacity and continued professional
growth.
7. Possess a working knowledge of the Human Trafficking
Interdiction Division's policies and procedures.
