Job Description:
A company is looking for a Credentials Specialist to join their
internal Credentials Verification Operations team.
Key Responsibilities
Perform primary source verification for credentialing applications
of medical staff and advanced practice professionals
Process and manage credentialing applications, ensuring timely
submission and compliance with standards
Verify education, training, experience, and licensure according to
regulatory guidelines
Required Qualifications
Minimum seven (7) years of relevant experience, or a Bachelor's
Degree with three (3) years of credentialing experience
Experience with federal and state compliance guidelines in a
medical setting
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and medical credentialing
database applications
Certification as a Provider Credentialing Specialist (CPCS) is
preferred or in progress
Knowledge of MSOW credentialing software is preferred
