Job Description:
A company is looking for a Junior Coder to assist in data
collection and reporting for risk adjustment coding.
Key Responsibilities
Review charts for compliance with AAPC guidelines and provide
analysis for improvement
Prepare documentation for practices, including chart note examples
and coding guidelines
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and county coding
regulations related to risk adjustment
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
Certified Professional Coder (CPC)
Certified Risk Adjustment Coder (CRC) preferred
Bachelor's degree in a related field of study preferred
2+ years of experience with Risk Adjustment HCC coding or
abstraction
2+ years of ICD-10 Coding and Chart Review Auditing experience
