Are you a result driven individual who values operational safety and reliability? Are you looking for a position where you can showcase your project management leading, collaboration and negotiation skills? If so, we are currently looking for a Senior Advisor, who will support and implement Operational Readiness & Assurance (ORA) processes, process improvement and opportunity identification in support of project requirements through each stage of the project lifecycle, to support the safe, reliable and profitable transition of assets into operation.

Here's what you will do:

  • Promote the Operational Readiness & Assurance (ORA) processes. Make recommendations for the continuous improvement of standard processes between business units regarding ORA and the successful transition of assets to the owner.
  • Find opportunities to improve and support the integration of assets throughout the lifecycle of a project and awareness of interrelationships between customers.
  • Evaluate and compare existing processes to identify gaps and opportunities for process improvement.
  • Technical writing to support standard, process and template updates.
  • Responsible for ensuring that throughout the lifecycle of projects, a high level of communications is maintained with both internal and external collaborators.
  • Train GTM collaborators and project team on ORA procedures to management of change activities.
  • Assist projects and GTM partner departments to ensure compliance with ORA procedures.
  • Assist other business units in the development and alignment of specific documents for their ORA processes.
  • Responsible for working effectively within a team structure.


    Who you are:

    You have the following education and/or experience:
    • 7+ years with an engineering or technical degree and/or field and/or project and/or operational experience
    • Awareness of interrelationships with other partners both internal and external to the project team.


      You can:
      • Initiate and manage change, be innovative, problem solve, negotiate and think strategically.
      • Show a breadth and depth of understanding in effective project management.
      • Work independently, prioritize multiple projects and tasks accordingly.
      • Successfully communicate technical issues and impacts to other technical and non-technical audiences.
      • Resolve sophisticated issues based on well-developed technical knowledge and discernment.

              Working Conditions:
              • Standard office environment with some travel between Enbridge offices and field locations.


                Physical Requirements include but are not limited to:

                Grasping, kneeling, light - moderate lifting (objects up to 20 pounds), reaching above shoulder, repetitive motion, typing, sitting, standing, visual requirement (able to see screens, detect color coding, read fine print), hearing requirement and the ability to sit at a computer for long periods of time.

                Mental Requirements (Both Field & Office) include but are not limited to:

                Ability to: understand, remember and apply oral and/or written instructions or other information, understand complex problems and collaborate/explore alternative solutions, organize thoughts and ideas into understandable terminology, organize and prioritize work schedule on a short-term basis, make decisions which have moderate impact on the immediate work unit and monitor impact outside this area, understand and follow basic instructions and guidelines, complete routine forms, compose letters, outlines, memoranda and basic reports and communicate with individuals via telephone.
