Description:CutisCare provides management services to wound care and hyperbaric medicine service lines in hospitals nationwide. As a Hyperbaric Technician you will be joining a team of compassionate wound care specialists in positively impacting the patients' quality of life throughout their healing journey.On the job training is provided. The Hyperbaric Technician is responsible for:The safe and efficient operation of the hyperbaric chamber and related support systems as well as the safe delivery of hyperbaric oxygen therapy to the hyperbaric patientProviding patient education and orientation about hyperbaric oxygen therapyChecking patient vital signs and updating patient chartAssist in the start-up and shut down of the facilityResponsible for completing equipment maintenance on timeRequirements:Current license or certification as applicable in state of practice in one of the following areas:Certified Hyperbaric Technologist (CHT)Certified Hyperbaric Specialist (CHS)Certified Hyperbaric Wound Specialist (CHWS)Certified Respiratory Therapy Technician (CRT)Emergency Medical Technician (EMT) or ParamedicLicensed Vocational Nurse (LVN)
