Position Overview:

The Production Supervisor is responsible for directing a work team in meeting daily production schedules while ensuring efficiency, quality, and safety standards. This is a fast-paced, high-volume manufacturing environment that requires a hands-on, high-energy leader who thrives on the production floor.

Work Schedule:

Monday - Friday, 2:30 PM - 11:00 PM, with overtime as required (including weekends).



Key Responsibilities:

Shop Floor Leadership: Spend 100% of the time on the shop floor, facilitating workflow and ensuring smooth daily operations.


Team Management: Supervise 25-60 wage employees, ensuring productivity, safety, and quality.


Process Optimization: Drive key performance metrics in safety, quality, delivery, cost, and efficiency.


Safety & Compliance: Promote and enforce a safe work environment, ensuring all employees follow company safety policies.


Operational Problem-Solving: React to production issues, material shortages, and equipment malfunctions, ensuring minimal downtime.


Continuous Improvement: Implement LEAN manufacturing tools (VSM, SMED, 5S, TPM, Kaizen) to improve performance.


Training & Development: Supervise, evaluate, and train team members to enhance productivity and efficiency.


Accurate Reporting: Maintain employee and production records while ensuring fair and consistent application of company policies.



Qualifications:

Required:

Bachelor's degree and minimum of one (1) year experience in manufacturing, OR


Associate degree and minimum of six (6) years experience in manufacturing, OR


Equivalent combination of education and experience.


Minimum two (2) years of supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment.


Proficiency in MS Office Suite.



Preferred:

LEAN Manufacturing or Six Sigma experience, utilizing tools like VSM, SMED, 5S, TPM, and Kaizen.


Ability to work in a high-energy, high-volume environment.
