The opportunity

EY is seeking an Integrated Justice Architect with extensive experience in the integrated justice domain, a deep understanding of integrated justice workflows, data models and a proven track record of building enterprise-grade applications in the cloud that seamlessly integrate generative AI services. This role is critical for leading the development of innovative client solutions that enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of justice-related processes and systems.

In this role, you will be responsible for designing and implementing robust architecture for integrated justice systems, ensuring that they are scalable, secure, and capable of handling complex data workflows. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to incorporate advanced AI technologies into these systems, enhancing decision-making and operational capabilities.

Your key responsibilities

Architect and develop integrated justice solutions that leverage cloud technologies and AI services to meet the needs of justice agencies
Understand and apply IJS data models and workflows to create systems that facilitate information sharing and collaboration across justice entities
Design and implement secure cloud-based infrastructures that support the integration of generative AI and machine learning services into justice applications
Collaborate with stakeholders to identify requirements and translate them into technical specifications for system development
Lead the evaluation and adoption of emerging technologies to improve system functionality and user experience
Develop and maintain documentation, training materials, and best practices for integrated justice system architecture
Mentor and guide team members, fostering a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and knowledge sharing

Skills and attributes for success

Strong experience in the integrated justice domain with a solid understanding of IJS data models, standards, and workflows
Substantial experience in designing and building enterprise-grade systems in the cloud, with a focus on integrating AI services
Proficiency in cloud architectures, particularly AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform
Knowledge of AI and machine learning concepts, with the ability to apply these technologies to solve complex problems within the justice domain
Familiarity with security best practices, including data protection, access controls, and compliance with justice-related regulations
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to design scalable and resilient system architectures
Strong communication and leadership abilities, with the capacity to manage projects and teams effectively

To qualify for the role you must have

A proactive and adaptable working style with strong personal ownership of problem resolution
Exceptional communication skills, both written and verbal, capable of engaging with technical teams, stakeholders, and clients
The ability to multitask and perform under pressure, with minimal supervision
A collaborative approach to working with Business Analysts, Solution Architects, and other stakeholders to develop technical solutions for strategic justice projects
The capacity to guide teams in the integration of AI services into applications, driving the creation of data-driven insights and operational efficiencies
A commitment to mentoring and coaching peers on integrated justice system standards and practices, promoting a culture of learning, growth, and operational excellence

What we offer

We offer a comprehensive compensation and benefits package where you'll be rewarded based on your performance and recognized for the value you bring to the business. The base salary range for this job in all geographic locations in the US is $124,300 to $227,900. The salary range for New York City Metro Area, Washington State and California (excluding Sacramento) is $149,200 to $259,000. Individual salaries within those ranges are determined through a wide variety of factors including but not limited to education, experience, knowledge, skills and geography. In addition, our Total Rewards package includes medical and dental coverage, pension and 401(k) plans, and a wide range of paid time off options. Join us in our team-led and leader-enabled hybrid model. Our expectation is for most people in external, client serving roles to work together in person 40-60% of the time over the course of an engagement, project or year. Under our flexible vacation policy, you'll decide how much vacation time you need based on your own personal circumstances.
