Valves & Flow Control Job Summary We are seeking a dynamic Regional
Sales Manager to lead the forecasting of annual sales, oversee and
mentor sales representatives and distributors, and spearhead the
promotion of our full range of products, programs, and company
policies. Regional Sales Manager - Valves & Flow Control
Responsibilities
- Plan and allocate around 50% of work time in the field,
covering regions like Texas, Louisiana, Arkansas, and Kansas.
Establish annual sales forecasts for reps and distributors,
organize seminars, and encourage plant visits for key clients.
Monitor distributor inventory during visits to ensure market demand
is met.
- Manage sales leads, coordinating and following up with
distributors, RSMs, and company management. Make on-the-spot
pricing decisions when necessary, reporting them back to
headquarters. Guide reps and distributors on factory lead times and
custom designs, and stay involved in blanket quote pricing for key
accounts.
- For service issues, allow the factory to evaluate unless field
resolution is possible. Follow up on significant quotes,
coordinating with distributors to close deals. Promote
comprehensive knowledge of products and policies.
- Coordinate with distributor managers on high-potential accounts
and assist with meetings as needed. Log follow-up actions in the
CRM (D365) and submit monthly reports summarizing wins, losses, and
key targets.
- Conduct training for reps and distributors on product lines,
new products, and market presentation skills. Work with the VP of
Sales on distributor performance, replacements, or additions, and
report any concerns confidentially to upper management." Regional

- Bachelor's degree required
- Minimum 5 years of sales or sales management experience in a
related industry
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and Outlook
- Extensive experience with D365 CRM
