Strategics District Manager, you are responsible for managing teams
selling NetApp's Products and Professional Services to several,
large key Global Enterprise customers. Your ability to help
penetrate new divisions and organizations within assigned accounts
is essential to your being successful in this role.
Cross-functional teams from NetApp's Marketing, Systems Engineering
and Product Development functions provide support and tools for you
to leverage to attain and exceed sales performance goals.Experience
in the High-Tech or EDA / Semiconductor Design and Manufacturing
vertical is highly preferred.Candidate must be located within the
US-west region or willing to relocate to be considered. High
preference for Bay Area, CA. - - -Job Responsibilities -
Working directly with teams assigned to Enterprise Customers, the
goal for the Strategics District Manager will be to capture sales
opportunities and to work effectively across functions with other
NetApp employees by:
--- -Building senior technical customer relationships to gain
buy-in with decision makers and ensure continuity of existing
revenues, while simultaneously driving growth of all product
revenues.
--- -Creating relationship maps within accounts with plans to
expand depth and quality of relationships with buyers and
influencers, thereby expanding breadth of product sales.
--- -Developing account plans and a long-term product strategy
encompassing new and existing products within the accounts.
--- -Leading and coordinating the end-to-end sales cycle including
qualification, solution design, pricing and quoting, and contract
development to close deals.
--- -Continuously assessing customer business requirements and
continue to maintain and educate stakeholders on NetApp's value
proposition and best-in-class products.
--- -Providing status information to leadership including accurate
forecast/pipeline information.
--- -Identifying NetApp customer references that can be utilized
when reference selling.
--- -This individual effectively works with, and influences senior
internal personnel within the function, and employees in other
functions that support the sales effort, and has direct customer
contact.
--- -Will successfully coordinate significant projects or
initiatives across functional groups.
--- -Direct management, supervision and direction that delivers
results.
-Job Requirements--- -The ideal candidate is a subject matter
expert and strongly influences sales team decisions and
initiatives.
--- -Excellent verbal and written communications skills;
presentation, customer service, business, and negotiation
skills.
--- -A minimum of 8 years of experience in a related sales role
with at least 4 years of experience leading teams
--- -Experience working with customers in the EDA/High-Tech market
is highly preferred -
--- -Ability to travel within assigned region, working closely with
other District Managers, Sales Representatives, and channel
partners. Occasional travel outside of region may be required.
--- -A strong understanding of the sales process, forecasting and
Channel Sales.
--- -High energy with the capability to multi-task in a dynamic,
rapidly growing organization.
--- -A thorough understanding of go-to-market strategies including
account segmentation, products, marketing strategies, etc.
--- -Broad exposure to a variety of technologies/concepts in a
distributed environment.
-Education--- -Bachelor's degree or additional years of
experience.The OTE (On Target Earnings) Range for this position is
- -$366,010 - 473,660 USD - - and will be determined by the
candidate's location, qualifications, experience, and education.
Final compensation packages are competitive and in line with
industry standards, reflecting a variety of factors, and include a
comprehensive benefits package. This may cover Health Insurance,

various Leave options, Performance-Based Incentives, employee stock
