retail centers. We are in search of a General Manager for Pearland
Town Center in Pearland, Texas. CBL seeks to continuously

year!General Managers are responsible for the financial and
operational performance of their respective center(s).A successful
General Manager brings solid working knowledge of the shopping
center industry to include diverse operational aspects including
retail, leasing, development, and property management as well as
experience in financial analysis, retail property operations,
business plans, and reporting requirements.The Successful Applicant
will:
- Continuously improve NOI and FFO performance of the property
through effective planning and execution including budget
management with focus on driving revenues (leasing, percentage rent
optimization in partnership with marketing, temporary tenant and
brand development revenues) and expense reduction (efficiency of
operations).
- Provide supervision to the Mall Management Team and oversight
of Operations and Security. Foster effective employee relations and
collaboration with all team members.
- Represent the owner to merchants and the community through
responsiveness, enforcement of agreements and policies.
- Collaborate with Leasing as well as Specialty Leasing and
Advertising teams to better assist in the focus and efforts on
income generation.
- Work with Senior General Manager to develop long-range plans
for the property including identification and recommendations
regarding capital expenditures including appropriate
redevelopment.
- Maintain safe, efficient, and attractive Operations. Ensure
emergency preparedness in accordance with CBL guidelines.
- Work with designated vendors to effect energy management,
recycling, and other sustainability initiatives.
- Proactively recognize issues and propose solutions.
- Perform other duties as assigned.To be considered, we require:
- Bachelor's degree from four-year college or university strongly
preferred.
- Minimum of five years of related experience and/or training; an
equivalent combination of education and experience (1 year
education = 2 years' experience) in Shopping Center Management may
be considered.
- Strong written and oral communication skills are essential to
success in this position.
- Excellent public relations abilities are a must.
- Proficiency in MS Office; experience with Yardi a plus.
- This position requires flexibility in working hours.To perform
