Experience the challenges, rewards and opportunity of working for one of the world's largest providers of products and services to the global energy industry.Job DutiesResponsibilities:--- Under broad direction, applies theories, principles and practices to the research and development of new and improved products, processes and procedures.--- Performs routine research and experimentation at the direction of Senior Scientists and Team Leaders.--- Document progress in laboratory notebooks, reports, procedures and designs.--- Communicates occasionally with Technical Client Personnel.--- Responds as directed by Senior Scientist and Team Leaders to customers' needs.--- Participates in Professional Societies.--- Development and maintenance of data output algorithms for electrical measurement sensors.--- Develop, build, and adjust calibration models for measurement sensors.--- Ability to analyze large data sets and recognize trends to resolve data integrity issues.--- Job role contributes directly to value creation.Qualifications:--- Skills typically acquired through the completion of an undergraduate degree in Science, Engineering or similar discipline, and 7 years of related experience.--- Completion of a master's or PhD in Science or Engineering is preferred.--- Previous experience in oil and gas industry.--- Previous experience with directional drilling survey tools and associated data sets.Candidates with qualifications exceeding the minimum job requirements will be considered for higher-level positions based on their experience, additional job requirements, and current business needs.
