Job Description:

A company is looking for a Referral Management Specialist I in the Psychiatry department.
Key Responsibilities

Serve as the initial point of contact for patients and referring physicians, facilitating the referral process and scheduling appointments
Collect and maintain accurate patient information, including demographics and insurance details, while ensuring compliance with referral protocols
Monitor clinic schedules for efficiency, making necessary adjustments to enhance patient flow and satisfaction

Required Qualifications, Training, and Education

High School Degree or Equivalent Work Experience (0-6 months)
Preferred: Bachelor's degree from an accredited college/university or two years of experience in a medical office, call center, or customer service environment
Extensive experience with computers and technology, including Windows and Excel
Ability to prioritize and coordinate multiple tasks in a busy environment
Typing speed of 35 cwpm required, with a certified typing test to be presented at the interview
