Job Description:

System One is assisting our client in hiring a Service Engineer - I&C

All the relevant skills, qualifications and experience that a successful applicant will need are listed in the following description.
The position is remote w/ up to 85% travel.
The position works at power plants, servicing equipment. (Must be able to travel to U.S., Canada, and Caribbean)

The position is Non-Exempt w/ OT. Base annual salary range is DOE. Overtime potential can equate to an additional 75% - 100% of the annual base.
Bachelors Degree in Industrial Controls & Automation, or Electrical Engineering, or equivalent
Excellent communication skills
Must have 3+ years experience with Programming and troubleshooting PLC's (Rockwell, Siemens, Schneider etc.)
DCS troubleshooting
HMI: Wonderware and other applicable systems
Various industrial networks and protocols (Modbus TCP, Profibus, CAN-bus, CIP, EtherNet/IP, DeviceNET, ControlNET, Industrial Ethernet)
OPC systems
Windows server and UNIX servers
Variable frequency drives
Advance programming of firewalls and routers
Reciprocating Gas Engine Control Systems (MAN, MaK, Caterpillar, Bergen etc.)
